At MNX Online, we are once again celebrating after receiving a new recognition for our performance and innovative solutions at the eighth edition of the Premio Pyme del Año Las Palmas 2024 (Las Palmas 2024 SME of the Year Award), which took place on 26 June.

This award, granted annually by Banco Santander, Cámara de España (Spanish Chamber of Commerce), and the newspaper La Provincia, in collaboration with the Cámaras de Comercio de Lanzarote y la Graciosa (Chambers of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa), Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, is a benchmark in the Spanish business world. It aims to recognize the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, whose activity is essential for job creation and wealth generation.
In this eighth edition, 60 companies from the province of Las Palmas, out of a total of 1,577 from all over Spain, competed for the Premio Pyme del Año 2024, which aims to highlight the performance of Spanish small and medium-sized enterprises, whose activity is fundamental for job creation and wealth generation in the territory. This benchmark recognition in the business world also aims to highlight essential aspects such as job creation, with special attention to permanent employment; talent development through training; international activity, focusing on the evolution of exports and opening to new markets; innovation and digitalization initiatives; and socially responsible projects.
Among the 5 finalists, MNX Online has been awarded the Digitalization and Innovation Accésit, a recognition that highlights our commitment to technological transformation and the implementation of smart and sustainable solutions in the tourism sector, as well as collaboration with companies from industries such as logistics and manufacturing in international projects and with local regions and research groups.
Our company, specialized in developing advanced technological solutions, has achieved this award thanks to pioneering projects that drive global digitalization in the tourism sector and sustainability in destinations, using advanced technologies such as FIWARE, a technology promoted by the European Union for the development of smart cities and ecosystems.
This award recognizes the work of digitalization and innovation in smart tourism that MNX Online has been carrying out for years through the development of technological solutions that improve the tourist experience and promote sustainable practices in a sector as crucial to the islands as tourism, as crucial to the islands as tourism. In this sense, this recognition adds to the one we received last year as one of the top 100 startups in Spain 2023 according to APTE (Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain) for our innovation in smart and sustainable tourism.
The president of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Ms. Lola García, was in charge of presenting this prestigious award to our CEO, Mannix Manglani, thus reaffirming the positive impact of our initiatives in the region and highlighting our commitment to technological innovation and the creation of smart and sustainable technological solutions oriented towards tourism.

Mannix Manglani highlighted in his speech the transformative and innovative power of technological companies in the tourism sector, advocated for the important role of women in the ICT world, and emphasized that “as we have been demonstrating, from Fuerteventura we can be technological leaders at a global level.”
